On March 4th David Mirshak’s son, DJ,sustained multiple severe injuries in a motorcycle-vehicle collision in Rockford, IL.
While DJ’s prognosis for recovery is positive, his life will never be the same again. He faces numerous surgeries and a demanding recovery, including a prolonged hospital stay and a significant period of time where he won't be able to work.
In an effort to support our fellow Misfit and his son, Misfits Poker League has decided to run a tournament with all proceeds going to DJ and the family to offset medical expenses and living costs while he recovers.

There are 60 spots available for this tournament.
30 seats at Distill-American Pacific on April 1st at 6pm
30 seats at Distill-Cheyenne on April 4th at 6pm
Each night we will play down to the Top 5 players. Those 10 players will “bag” their chip stacks for the Final Table Event at Fred’s on April 13th at 11am.
We will be using our standard nightly structure with big blind antes beginning at Level 5.
This is a Winner-Take-All tournament. Rob, on behalf of Misfits Poker League, will be donating the First Place Prize of $400 Cash. Evelyn Niehaus has donated four of her wonderful paintings to the 2nd-5th place finishers on April 13th! If anyone has anything appropriate that they would like to donate as a prize for any or all of the Final Table (Top 10) please contact Cory or Lance.
The Entry Fee is $40. There is a 5K chip Dealer Appreciation Add-On for $10.
Players are able to enter both flights. But seats are limited so be sure to pre-register.
If you Pre-Register with Payment by Saturday, March 30th. You will receive an additional 10K chip bonus.
If seats are available after March 30th, late registration will be available up until the beginning of Level 5
