Alec Torelli started playing poker in 2003 and quickly made a mark by reaching the Final Table at the 2006 Ultimate Bet Aruba Poker Classic. He moved to Melbourne, Australia, where he won the FTOPS Main Event and became one of the top winners of Full Tilt Poker in 2006. Upon turning 21, Torelli relocated to Las Vegas and achieved notable finishes in the 2008 and 2009 WSOP events, including 2nd place in the $10,000 Heads Up event.

From 2012 to 2015, Torelli focused on high-stakes cash games in Macau. He has appeared on various poker TV shows and live streams. In 2023, he made a deep run in the WSOP Main Event, finishing 11th out of 10,043 and earning $700,000. He is currently an ambassador for Phenom Poker.

Alec has been a coach for more than a decade. He is the founder of Conscious Poker, a poker training site dedicated to helping players win more, move up in stakes, and make winning decisions. His Conscious Poker YouTube channel has received more than 15,000,000 views. In 2020, he published The Poker Coach, a book dedicated to helping aspiring players improve their fundamentals, hand reading and decision-making process.
