Good Afternoon Everyone,
There's been a couple additions to the MPL Rules & Tournament Information.
ADDITION:
RULE 4)f) Color-Ups and Race-Offs:
iv) Dealers and Tournaments Hosts have the right to and responsibility to color-up, race off players’ chips. In order to do this, they must touch the players chips and have complete autonomy to do so whether the player is present or not. If a player is colored up when the player is not present, the colored up chips will be left out front of the player’s stack. (TDA Rule 1 & 25B)
RULE 4)g): Breaks:
i) When breaks are announced players must remove themselves from the tables and the poker area when space permits.
ii) The Tournament Host or Dealer will announce a 2 minute warning to all players. This means that there is two minutes remaining in the break and players should start wrapping what they are doing. (paying bills, eating, gaming, etc.) This is NOT a call for the players to return to their seats.
iii) Players may return to their seats when the Tournament Host announces “Poker Players Return to Your Seats”
iv) During the tournament, the general rule of thumb is, if the dealer is NOT in the box, STAY AWAY FROM THE TABLE AND POKER AREA!
LET'S ALSO REVIEW THE FOLLOWING:
TDA RULES 1: Floor Decisions
The best interest of the game and fairness are top priorities in decision-making. Unusual circumstances occasionally dictate that common-sense decisions in the interest of fairness take priority over technical rules. Floor decisions are final.
MPL RTI Rule 5:
a) The Tournament Dealer Association (TDA) rules will apply in most cases. Please keep in mind TDA is a guideline for poker rooms to use and always respect rule #1 which states the following: “The best interest of the game and fairness are top priorities in decision-making. Unusual circumstances occasionally dictate that common-sense decisions in the interest of fairness take priority over technical rules. Floor decisions are final.”

TDA RULE 25: Cards and Chips Kept Visible, Countable, and Manageable. Discretionary Color-Ups
B: TDs control the number and denominations of chips in play and may color up one or more players at their discretion at any time. Discretionary color ups are to be announced.
As always please feel free to ask questions, the only way to learn the game is to study and grow together.
Thanks
~Lance
