Rules Clarification: Structure Tweak Effective 2/1/26

Good Afternoon Everyone,
There's been a need to clarify the structure as stated in the MPL Rules and Tournament Information. This change will be effective 2/1/26.
I will NOT be updating the language in the rules, this post will serve as the update.
Clarification on Rule 4)a)vi): Blind Structure
In order to better serve the players and keep the tournament time to approx. 4 hours we have eliminated the 300/600 and 700/1400 levels.
The Big Blind Antes for most tournaments willl begin at Level 11 - 5,000/10,000/10,000
ALL BIG BLIND ANTES WILL BE AT THE FULL DISCRETION OF THE TOURNAMENT HOST!
There may be certain situations where BB Antes will not be used at all, and some situations where BB Antes will be implemented as early as Level 5, as stated in the current rules.
While this isn't a huge change, it is a change nevertheless. Thank you for your patience and understanding while we continue to strive to put the best possible product on the felt for you and our partner venues.
