Spooky Times in MisfitsLand

It ws a spooky evening of fun, laughter, and thrills as 25 players gathered Friday night for the annual Halloween Costume Contest at Putter's-Pecos.

While many wore costumes, there were some that allowed their spooky poker play to dominate on the felt. For the contest, the winner would receive a $35 gift certificate to the Misfits Merchandise Shop and the Runner-Up would get a 3000 Chip bonus to use in a future regular season game.

As you can see from the photos, the competition was fierce and we even had one of our dealers in on the action. (Frank played Ernie to a tee)

At the end of the night there was a clear winner, and the dealers chose The Pirate, Laurie Falquez, as the winner. Runner-up was none other than our resident Pregnant Nun, Charlett MacDonald.

Charlett wasn't done there, she also finished 2nd over for the night in the regular season game. Let's hope she doesn't make a "habit" out of it! (I'll show myself out) Peter Legner finished strong in 1st place pushing upward into 2nd place in the overall league standings. Corky Eden defended the top spot in the league by finishing a very respectable 3rd place for the night.

Congrats to everyone who came out on All Hallows' Eve and enjoyed the spooktacular camaraderie with their fellow Misfits. It was a truly grand time!
