Welcome Back to The Councilman's Corner.
For those of you who don't know me, I'm Lance, aka The Councilman. In August 2022, I started a Facebook page dedicated to all things poker and especially all things Misfits Poker. For many reasons, which I won't get into, the page fell by the wayside.
Well, time has passed and quite frankly, it's time to bring it back and make it better than ever!
Thank you to everyone who took the time to read the first installment of The Councilman's Corner.
This week we dive into an interesting analogy that's brought to us by Arnold Snyder, who was inspired by David Skalansky's, "Tournament Poker for Advanced Players".
In Snyder's book, "Poker Tournament Formula", he covers an approach to playing and winning in small stakes tournaments, soup to nuts. In fact, he discusses a little game we all knew growing up as kids. How does a little Rock, Paper, Scissors sound?

*For those of you who are asking, technically the new promotion begins on October 1st. HOWEVER, due to the TOC's that are being held on October 1st at Joe's and October 3rd at Putter's, and since none of the TOC's count towards any regular season standings, the Misfits Poker League Season will officially kickoff on October 4th.
